At A1 Machining and Welding we specialize in Aluminum welding, Stainless Steel welding, and Steel Welding welding. We also provide welding on Cast aluminum, Cast Iron and Steel, Brass, Copper, and Titanium. These are the most common metals we weld however we also get some exotic or uncommon metals from time to time and we weld those too.
We can weld new parts to specifications, fabricate per drawings, and repair or modify existing parts.
We've done a large variety of jobs building new, modifying, and repairing with various metals and processes. Feel free to inquire about your project today!
Also knows as GTAW or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding use a non-consumable Tungsten electrode and filler material is added by hand or base materials are fused together. TIG welding can be used to weld a wide variety of metals. This process is superior to MIG (GMAW) especially on Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
Here are some welding services we provide with TIG welding:
Also know as GMAW or Gas Metal Arc Welding which uses a wire spool as the electrode that gets consumed to make a weld. One of the most common welding types used mostly on Steel Welding. However we provide MIG Stainless Steel Welding with Stainless Steel wire and Tri-Mix Shielding gas. We can also weld Aluminum with Aluminum wire and 100% Argon gas with a spool gun. Both Stainless Steel and Aluminum MIG welding are used more in production runs where welds bead quality are not of importance.
MIG welding services include:
We also provide Flux Core and Dual Shield Flux Core Welding.
We also provide a other welding types that are less commonly used:
We have many ways to cut metal from handsaws to plasma cutting we have abilities to handle your job.
We have manual machining capabilities for simple and not tight tolerance parts. Most of our jobs are welding and fabrication oriented so we are not a full fledged machine shop.
We can roll tube up to 2 1/2" x 1/4" Sq tube given we have the die for the specific profile tube you may need.
We can bend plate to 8" x 3/4" plate or thinner and wider up to 24". Our break is very simple; no tight bends.
We provide rudimentary metal sanding, and buffing/deburring, blending.
